WeData is an association of the University of Geneva that aims to share its passion for data science and computer science. We have a strong interest in statistics and computational methods. Initially, the association's target audience was people in the social sciences. WeData quickly expanded into other fields of research.
More concretely, the association aims to achieve its objectives by creating freely-accessible educational content on its platforms in a variety of forms: YouTube videos, blog posts, exercises, etc. The association co-organizes the R-Lunches, a series of events related to R in which various speakers present topics related to the R language. The association tries to keep abreast of and participate as often as possible in digital initiatives at the University of Geneva.

A data project always start with a data enginering step. You need to harvest data and store it in an adequate format to be able to use it.
I can help you to..
Harvest data from different sources like APIs, SQL databases or messy Excel spreadsheets.
Reformat and reshape data to make further analyses easier.
Clean datasets removing outliers and abberant data.
My interests are in migration, integration, statistics, text mining, web scraping and network analysis
I am passionate about Linux, terminal, programming languages, semantics and formal modeling tools
My job is to help companies and researchers analyze data sets, whatever their size, through: Pre-processing the data to be exploitable in advanced stages of processing, applying statistical methods to it, representing and visualizing it, and then extracting results according to the logic of prediction, as well as according to the data mining in various possible algorithms.
I worked on many researches from various disciplines, in political, economic and social sciences.
I'm a data analysis and data visualisation enthousiast with an academic background in neurosciences.
My job consists in helping companies and researchers to analyse their datasets. I am skilled for most data-science
steps: data pre-processing, application of statistical methods, data visualization and results communication.
